This Privacy Policy explains how iuLaTeX ("we," "us," or "the Service") handles information when you use this website. This is an experimental, editor-only build: there is no sign-in, no account, and nothing you type is saved on our servers.

1. Information We Collect

Content you type. The LaTeX code you write stays in your browser's memory for the current page visit. It is never sent to or stored on our servers — it only leaves your browser, transiently, when you use the Export feature, which renders it locally in your browser via MathJax (loaded from a public CDN) and produces a file your browser lets you download directly.

Usage and technical data. Like most websites, our infrastructure provider automatically logs standard technical information for every request, including IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing technical issues.

Cookies. We do not use any cookies — there is no account or session to keep you signed into.

2. How We Use Information

We do not use your LaTeX code for anything — we never receive it. Technical request logs are used only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service. We do not sell information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

Live preview and image export are powered by MathJax, loaded directly in your browser from a public CDN. That request is subject to the CDN provider's own privacy practices.

4. Children's Privacy

iuLaTeX is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
